At
Trinity Fellowship Church we believe that worship begins in each
individual's heart, and should be exercised daily throughout
the week with personal bible study and prayer. We know that in
order to grow as a believer, one must fellowship with other Christians,
and join together for corporate Bible study, and Worship. (Acts
2)
We strive to follow Ephesians chapter 5 in our worship services.
We use a contemporary style, with a praise band, but also incorporate
hymns and Psalms into the worship.
Be ye filled with Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs! Eph
5:18-19
When Paul wrote this he was faced with some of the same issues
we face today. Remember he was raised in church with tradition!
The New Christian Movement was radical and extreme to the Synagogue
and the Jewish religious Authority.
Be ye Filled with Psalms... for an example...
Psalms 100

Shout Joyfully to the Lord!
|
 |
Serve the Lord with gladness; Come
before him with joyful singing.
|
 |
Know that the Lord himself is God;
It is He who made us and not we ourselves; We are his people
and the sheep of His pasture.
|
 |
Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His
name.
|
 |
For the Lord is good; His loving
kindness is everlasting, And His faithfulness
to all generations.

Hymns...
This is literally translated as “songs of our Doctrinal Faith”.
Hymns are a form of worship that reinforces our core doctrinal beliefs. The 4th
verse of "The Solid Rock" illustrates this beautifully...
When He shall come with trumpet sound, Oh may I then in Him be found; Dressed
in His righteousness alone, Faultless to stand before the throne.
And Spiritual Songs...
Translated it means "Songs of the day". This would be our Contemporary Songs. These
songs are the mode that allows us to speak directly to God the Father.
